If the "Create Nivoda Stock ID Metafield" button is greyed out in the Nivoda Connect app, it means the metafield has already been created — no further action is needed.
If the button is still clickable but not working, it’s likely due to having more than 20 Product metafields pinned in your Shopify admin. This can block the creation of new metafields.
To resolve this:
- Go to Shopify Settings > Metafields and metaobjects > Products
- Unpin any existing Product metafields to reduce the total below 20
- Return to the Nivoda Connect app
- Click Create Nivoda Stock ID again
Once unpinned, the metafield should be created successfully.
