To maintain a secure marketplace and comply with global anti-money laundering and trade regulations, Nivoda must verify every shipping address associated with your account.
Why is address verification necessary?
Verifying your location is a critical security step for several reasons:
Insurance Compliance: Our transit insurance requires proof that goods are being delivered to a verified location linked to your business.
Account Protection: This process prevents unauthorised third parties from redirecting your high-value orders to unverified locations.
Regulatory Requirements: We must ensure all shipments comply with international laws regarding the movement of high-value goods.
What documents are accepted for verification?
To be accepted, your document must be legible, issued in the owner’s or company’s name, and clearly display both the address and an issue date within the last 3 months.
Accepted documents include:
Bank or credit card statements
Utility bills (Electricity, Water, Gas)
Mortgage or rental/lease agreements
Council tax bills or local government-issued bills
Insurance policy documents (Home, Health, or Vehicle)
Official government correspondence (e.g., Tax authority)
Note: We cannot accept documents that are outdated or do not clearly show the business/owner name.
What addresses are prohibited?
To maintain the integrity of our supply chain, Nivoda does not permit the following:
Drop-shipping: We do not ship directly to third parties or your end customers in any country.
Courier Office Pickups: For security reasons, we do not allow parcels to be directed to courier-managed "hold for pickup" locations unless specifically arranged by our logistics team.
For more information on permitted and prohibited shipping locations, please review our full Change of Address Policy.
How long does the verification process take?
Once you upload your document, our team typically reviews and approves the address within 24 business hours. To avoid delays with a new order, we recommend adding and verifying any new shipping locations before you begin the checkout process.
