Yes, you can! You can add images when creating products on your Shopify store by following this Shopify help guide.
For variants, Shopify currently only allows one image per variant. But with Nivoda Connect’s Ring Studio feature, you can add multiple images for your variants. Here’s how:
1. Set Up & Add Multiple Images to Variants
- Go to Content > Metaobjects > Multiple Media
- Click Add Entry
- Click the empty box > Select images
- Add or select existing files, then click Done
- You can currently add .png, .jpg, .webp, and .gif formats.
- Set a Handle name to help you identify the entry, then click Save. You can also add additional images later.
- Go to the variant where you'd like to assign the images.
- Scroll to the metafields section, locate Multiple Media, click the empty box and then Select Entry.
- Choose the media entry you created earlier
- Click Save to apply changes.
2. Bulk Assign Media Entries to all Variants of a Product
To bulk assign media entries across all variants of a product:
- After creating your entries, go to the product page, select all variants, and click Bulk Edit
- In the Bulk Editor, click Columns, then add the Multiple Media metafield
- Add the corresponding media entry to each variant
- Click Save once you're done.
