At Nivoda, our ring prices include the local duties on the semi-mount only. This means:
- Duties on the metal and any side stones in the semi-mount are already covered in the listed price
- Duties on the center diamond are not included and should be factored into your pricing or markups
Example: In the United States, there is a 6.8% duty on mounted rings.
- The semi-mount price includes the duty on gems and metals used in the mount
- You’ll need to account for a separate 6.8% duty on the value of the diamond when calculating your final price
