When a customer places an order on your Shopify store, you can choose how it gets fulfilled through Nivoda Connect:
- Manual Fulfilment
- Automatic Ordering
Note: Manual Fulfilment must be activated before Automatic Ordering will function properly. These features are available to Pro customers.
Automatic Ordering is only available for fully paid orders.
Please see below steps to set up fulfilment options on Nivoda Connect:
Set Up Manual Fulfilment
Steps:
- Open Nivoda Connect → Settings
- Turn on “Place orders on Nivoda from Shopify”
For orders to work properly, you’ll need to create a fulfilment location and set up shipping rates:
- Go to Shopify Settings → Shipping and Delivery → Shipping
- Under Shipping → Fulfilment location, click Add location → Nivoda Fulfilment
You can create new shipping rates for the Nivoda Fulfilment location, or it will default to copying them from an existing location.
If rates don’t copy over, or you notice issues during checkout, select Remove rates, then re-enable the location using "Use rates from another location."
Placing a Manual Order:
- Go to the order page in Nivoda Connect
- Click “Request Fulfilment”
This sends the order to Nivoda for processing.
Set Up Automatic Ordering
Automatic Ordering lets orders from your Shopify store go straight to Nivoda without any manual steps.
Before enabling it, make sure:
- Manual ordering is turned on
- Nivoda Fulfilment location is set up in Shopify
- Shipping rates are configured
Then:
- Open Nivoda Connect → Settings
- Turn on “Automatically place orders on Nivoda”
That’s it! Orders will be automatically marked as accepted and sent to Nivoda.
You’ll see the order in your Nivoda account with the Shopify order number as a reference.
If you're on the Starter Plan, you can place orders using the Product Stock ID.
