You can set markups for natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds, gemstones and jewellery in the Feeds hub in your Nivoda account. Your markups apply to all your Nivoda Feeds (CSV, Shopify and GraphQL) and to Showroom.
Note: Only the account owner can view and change markups.
Choose how to set your markups
You can set your markup tiers in one of two ways:
- By price: the markup depends on the price of the stone.
- By carat: the markup depends on the carat weight of the stone.
The method you’re using shows an “Active” label.
Set your markups
- Log in to your Nivoda account and go to Menu > Feeds hub.
Click “Markups” in the left-hand menu.
Click “By price” or “By carat”.
If you’re setting markups by price, select your currency from the dropdown. Your price ranges are entered in this currency. This doesn’t change the currency of your feeds. You set that for each feed in its configuration settings under “Setup”.
- Click the tab for the product type: “Natural diamonds”, “Lab grown diamonds”, “Gemstones” or “Jewellery”.
For each tier, enter the top of the range in the “To” field and your markup in the “Markup (%)” field. The “From” value fills in automatically from the tier above.
IMPORTANT: Enter all values to 2 decimal places, as shown in the screenshot above. For price tiers, end each “To” value in .99 (for example, 259.99). The next tier then starts at the next whole number (260), so no prices are missed between tiers.
- Check the line next to each tier, for example “Sale price will be 2.50 times the initial value”, to make sure the markup is what you expect.
To add a tier, click “add row”. To remove a tier, click the bin icon at the end of its row.
- Repeat steps 5 to 8 for each product type you sell.
Click “Apply Changes” to save your markups.
