How can I change the metal and style variants on the ring builder?

You can customise the Metal and Style filters shown in the Ring Builder by setting up and assigning the appropriate metafields in your Shopify store.

Step 1: Create the Metafields in Nivoda Connect

1. Open the Nivoda Connect app in your Shopify admin
   
   
2. Go to the Ring Builder tab
   
   
3. Scroll down to Style Metafields
   
   
4. Click Create

Step 2: Set Up Filters in the Search & Discovery App

1. Open the Search & Discovery app
   
   
2. Click Customize filters
   
   
3. Click Add filter and select the following:
   
   
   • Style → Product Metafield
     
     
   • Metal → Variant Metafield
     
     
4. Click Save

Step 3: Assign Metafields to Your Ring Products

1. In Shopify, go to Products
   
   
2. Filter to products where Product Type = setting
   
   
3. Select all relevant products and click Bulk Edit
   
   

4. In the Bulk Editor, click Columns → Add Fields → Metafields → Style and Metal
   
   

5. Assign the correct Style and Metal values to each product
   
   
6. Click Save
   
   

Step 4: Use Filters in the Ring Builder

Once everything is configured, your customers will be able to filter by Metal and Style in the Ring Builder.
